EBAYS terrible feedback response
So here is an EASY issue you I had with a buyer... I sold a dvd... Brand new... Sealed... Shipped it in a bubble wrapped envelope... 40 DAYS LATER... I receive a negative from the buyer... CLAIMING the label was folded and wrecked and he received it damaged... (This was a 5.99 dvd)... Never filed a claim... Never contacted me... So how does ebay favor the buyer????
1 - 40 days after delivery left feedback
2 - NO contact with me
3 - NO issue filed
And NOW.... Ebay leaves the negative feedback??? Why is Ebay so terrible with these things???? NO COMMON SENSE????????

OP11 months agoI have been told by ebay themselves... And I do believe it also says... Please contact the seller to resolve issues before leaving negative feedback... And IF that's incorrect... Why should that NOT be correct??? Thats not COMMON SENSE???? If I have an issue with an item... I am NOT leaving negative feedback until I speak to the seller... Who doesn't do that??? A 7 year old maybe??? ESPECIALLY considering IF the item WAS damaged??? CLEARLY it wouldn't have been done by the seller with the damage he claimed...

It is suggested that buyers reach out to the seller before, but there is no requirement.
The no returns policy may have seemed, to the buyer, that contacting you was a waste of time.

·11 months agoBuyers have 60 days to leave feedback, and they are not required to contact you before doing so. I do not see anything in that feedback that violates any eBay policy, so I don’t see any reason it would be removed.
You can review the feedback policy here: https://www.ebay.com/help/policies/feedback-policies/feedback-policy?id=4208#section3
