eBay's satisfaction guarantee
Seller sold me an item that was clearly mislabeled and did not come close to fitting. I messaged the seller and received no reply. I began a return request and it was immediately denied as was the appeal.
I am frustrated with the seller for not doing the right thing and also frustrated with eBay for not protecting buyers from sellers who promote inferior merchandise.
What recourse do I have? It seems that AI rules eBay and no common sense exists.
Thank you in advance for whoever can help me,

For items that are not as described here is what we advise Buyers:
You are protected by the eBay Money Back Guarantee for 30 days from the date of receipt: eBay Money Back Guarantee policy
Go to the item in your Purchase history and file a RETURN using the reason "Does not match pictures or description". eBay will issue you a pre-paid return shipping label regardless of the Seller's return policy. You return the item and the Seller will have 2 days to refund you. Failing that you go back to the claim and ask eBay to step in and force the refund.
Apparently you selected the wrong reason and your return was denied. At this point you will have to pursue a dispute with your funding source, PayPal, credit card, etc.
You can report a Seller here: Report an issue with a seller | eBay

You are welcome, hopefully a dispute will work for you. If you win the dispute the Seller will be charged an additional $ 20.00 for losing the dispute.
