ebays return charge
I returned an item that did not fit the application that the seller claimed it would. i applied for a return label. ebay emailed me the return label. the shipping charge was $50 dollars to return the item. the shipper paid for shipping to me and it was $18! i feel i have been scammed by ebay. Why the big difference? it wasnt my fault the part did not fit! Amazon is my choice from now on when possible.

Mentor2 years agoI can't tell if you filed the Returns Request using ebay or not. This is how it works:
The easiest way is to have the buyer go to his/her Purchase history, locate the item. Click on RETURN THIS ITEM because it is Not as Described. S/he will need to click on More to see that option. The seller will need to provide a prepaid shipping label for its return. The buyer prints out the label, affixes it to the box, and has the counter clerk scan the label. When tracking shows DELIVERED back to the seller, the seller needs to refund the buyer within 2 days. If no refund, the buyer goes back to the case and clicks on Ask ebay to step in, to force the refund.
