Ebay's refusal to reopen a refund request once the buyer has closed it!
This morning, I opened a return for some shoes that didn't fit - then I closed it because I was going to wear the shoes in the house for a few hours to see if they would losen up a little so they would fit me. Nowhere in the process did eBay state that once a return request was closed, it could not be reopened.
I wore the shoes for two hours, but they still didn't fit. When I went to reopen the return request, it stated that it was not possible to reopen a return request. I should have been notified of this BEFORE I closed the return.
I've been on the chat with a nice eBay agent who said once a return request is closed, even they can't reopen it. So much for the eBay "guarantee", which, in this case, is totally bogus.
Has this happened to anyone else?

Mentor2 years ago@jothie00 Closing the claim means the problem was solved. And eBay wont let you reopen it. You can still try to email seller to see if you can return item or get a partial refund.
