Ebay's :Promote Your Listing"
I have a stupid question.
How is it beneficial to promote one's listing? For example: Say your selling something for $15, then Ebay says to promote your Listing, We charge $10??? So now the seller is making $5, minus other fees? Someone please explain!!!

Mentor2 years ago@canicatti66 I don't recommend promoted listings Express for auctions OR the Advanced Promoted Listings. These fees are charged even if the item doesn't sell.
I only use Promoted Listings Standard for Buy It Now listings and promote items at a flat rate I am comfortable with. Since I am not a huge hurry to sell I promote at 2%.
With Promoted Listings Standard the fee is not charged unless the item sells.
