Ebay's International shipping
How do I calculate or change international shipping rates for Ebays international shipping. ? I have over 5000 items that all have different weights.

·2 years agoYou are only responsible for shipping to the domestic hub for eBay International Shipping (EIS). The cost for domestic shipping, shown in your listing, will be combined by EIS with the international shipping and tariffs calculated by eBay for the international leg.
If you include the weight and dimensions of your items in your listings, then EIS can easily calculate the cost the buyer will pay. If you are missing dimensions, or weight, EIS must estimate the cost based on similar items in the same category. Since most of your items are books, I don't think the dimensions will vary that much.
Be sure to include accurate weight and dimensions for future listings to help the accuracy of EIS shipping rates.

Mentor2 years ago@cozyspaceship It depends on how you are shipping. If you are using eBay International Shipping Program then you don't have to worry about shipping price changes for the International portion of the shipment. OR for the DIRECT shipment listings IF you are using calculated shipping then you don't have to update INTERNATIONAL shipping.
You would only have to worry about the Flat rate prices to the domestic hub.
I looked at a couple of your listings and one has you DIRECT shipping to the buyer>

The annual postage rate changes is why I use buyer pays> calculated shipping 99% of the time. That way it's a set it and forget it about it method. With calculated if you want to add a bit more to the shipping cost for handling charges you can. Something to consider as you make new listings.
For now the only thing you can do is select similar items and go through and update the flat rate shipping charges using bulk edit.
How to use bulk edit:
1. Go to this active listings page : https://www.ebay.com/sh/lst/active
2. Put a checkmark next to all items you wish to edit
3. Select edit from the top of the list
4. Select all items again
5. Select edit fields on the upper left> shipping> edit and submit
OR if you use Business Policies then you update the Policy. Since you are larger seller you really should consider Business Policies if you are not already using them they do make editing quicker and when listing you just select the policy from a list.
