eBay's buyer centric model has collapsed
For decades I've been able to resolve issues by reaching a human being at eBay easily. Now it is an endless loop of automated redirects to nowhere.
I have experienced an unusually high number of seller cancellations and refunds issued. Either eBay has failed to properly educate sellers on shipping policies, or it's tools are inadequate, causing sellers to issue refunds for their inability to ship.
Either way it is eBay's fault and it's causing me to consider switching to other platforms after decades.

How are you vetting your sellers?
Choose your sellers with care: pick experienced sellers with proven track records of delivering what was described; avoid new or inexperienced sellers, sellers offering deals that are too good to be true, sellers that have changed behavior recently and that might have been hijacked, sellers that claim to ship from one location but that are registered in another location, or sellers that show other signs of being drop-shippers with no control over their stock.
