eBay Xbox gift card
I purchased an Xbox gift card yesterday night at around 6:30 pm. I then message the seller and asked how I was going to receive the order because it was starting to be a long time, that was at 5:40 am the next day (today) The seller didn’t get back to me until 9:59 am and the seller asked for a proof of confirmation so sent two photos of confirmation, one at 10:00 am and one at 3:30. And I haven’t gotten one message back! I don’t know if I should wait or contact eBay? It just seems sketchy to me.

Sellers can have handling times of 0 to 40 days. They just have to make sure that the item arrives by the last estimated delivery date stated on the listing.
The tracking is for the sellers protection to prove delivery. You are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
Sorry your purchase didn't go smoothly. Here's how to get your money back.
Look for the last estimated delivery date in your purchase history. You can file a refund request when it is one day PAST the last estimated delivery date . If tracking shows movement I recommend waiting a week or so for postal service delays.
You have 30 days from the last estimated delivery date to file a refund request on eBay.
Select your item on this page to start a refund request:
https://www.ebay.com/help/buying/returns-refunds/get-help-item-hasnt-arrived?id=4042&st=
4 business days after you file the refund request ask eBay to step in and help if the seller has not refunded you.

If it is more than 30 days past the last estimated delivery date then you can file a refund request on PayPal up to 180 days from the date of purchase. OR if you didn't use PayPal at checkout contact your bank or credit card to report that you didn't receive the item.

OP8 months agoHow could the seller mail the card if he’s not from the us? I personally don’t like that at all. And I’ve purchased Xbox cards numerous times from eBay and every time they’ve sent me a link to the Xbox code for me to redeem. I don’t know why the seller would mail the card🤷- on top of that it’s been two days and the seller still hasn’t gotten back to me. My hopes are starting to give up at this point. 😞

Mentor8 months ago@randycollects. Digital goods are only supposed to be sold by authorized sellers. I know that a lot of sellers violate this policy. If they are not authorized, which I am betting is correct, then they are supposed to list in the classified section. Classified listings cost $9.95 a month though and you'd have no buyer protection.
I recommend filing a not received refund request when it is one day PAST the last estimated delivery date stated in your purchase history.
Then ask eBay to step in and help on the 4th business day if the seller has not refunded you. Don't mention in the case that the seller was going to email you the code or you might lose the case.
