eBay wrongly hid one of my listings under the claim that I put contact information somewhere in it.
I posted a listing for a galaxy edition Nintendo 3DS XL with the description stating the condition it was in as well as the fact that it was modded. I also posted a link for instructions on how to unmod the console. eBay has since hidden my listing claiming that I put contact information in it, which I didn't, and I appealed the violation and it won't even allow me to go back to my listing to take screenshots of it. What do I do? This is absolutely criminal of them.

Ebay removed your listing due to the link you included in the listing.

OP11 months agoThe term criminal isn't literal, but the link I provided does not violate the policy in any way, shape, or form. It's instructions on how to remove custom firmware. The claim is that I posted contact information, which I did not do. If you're going to reply to this post at least offer a useful insight.

·11 months agoThe policy that @lady_madonna provided a link to is explicitly clear: no offsite links are allowed except for two very limited categories, neither of which applies here. If you wish to avoid this problem in the future, you need to learn the policy and avoid violating it again, not argue with those who correctly provide the information you need to succeed.

OP11 months agoI read the policy and it specifically states that I can't provide links to anything containing contact information, anything that provides the ability to complete the sale outside of ebay, or anything that offers merchandise from other merchants outside of eBay. Nowhere does it say I can't provide a link. I reread the policy myself just to make sure. Another thing is that she approached me being absolutely condescending. I also stated that the claim was that I provided contact information, which I did not. I am not in violation of anything and therefore this is an issue.
