ebay won't verify new payment method
I was informed today (8/14) while trying to place a bid that my payment method had expired. I tried to update my payment method, but I kept getting a message saying it couldn't be verified and was asked to add another payment method. There is nothing wrong with it. Expiration date is three years from now. Anybody know how I can get around this headache?

In here are all the methods of payment assigned to your account.
You can find the one that is giving you issues here. Remove it. Then add the card again as a new entry. This usually fixes these sort of problems. Then you can go back to your item and try again.
I would also as a second thought, check to make sure your device/computer has the correct date and time. This can also muck up secured connections involving methods of payment. VPNs can causes issues sometimes too, depending on location settings.
