eBAY WON'T let me ship a magazine media mail, yet buyer is able to pay for media shipping
Anyone else experience this when they sell a magazine, ebay lets a buyer pay for media shipping, yet I the seller is forced to ship it Ground shipping which costs more.

The reason the buyer was able to select Media Mail is because you listed that as the delivery option on your item listing. You need to correct your listings to offer only valid options when you select the class of service. As already advised, you cannot ship magazines via Media Mail.

Some items that do qualify for Media Mail
- Books
- Music CDs, cassettes, albums
- VHS/DVD movies
Some items that don't qualify for Media Mail
Comics
Magazines
Newspapers
Yearbooks
Catalogs
Software
Video games
Blank media
Anything with advertising, even decades-old ads, doesn't qualify for Media Mail. The USPS has very strict rules.

It looks like the first 2 magazines you listed were in the Books category and so eBay didn't block Media Mail as a shipping option.
When you list (properly) in Magazines, you can't select Media Mail because it's not allowed to ship magazines by Media Mail.

Mentor5 months agoIt's because magazines aren't eligible for Media Mail and you gave that as a choice so while they can choose it you can't use it.
It seems you have Media Mail option on ALL your listings and a large portion aren't even eligible to be shipped Media Mail.
