Ebay Won't Let Me Cancel

Question

I purchased a diesel injection pump for a fair price of $900. Got message from seller that they don't have the actual pump, and that they can send a (cheap) mechanical pump and refund $100. I responded there is no way I'll switch my truck over, and to refund me. Seller said they would cancel transaction on their end. Ebay won't let me cancel order, I haven't got any refund, or anything. Would like to report this bait and switch tactic to ebay, but it seems impossible to contact ebay.

@k5blazer71 Only a seller can cancel the sale.

You can contact eBay customer service to report the bait and switch but they will not be able to force a refund until after the last estimated delivery date stated in the listing. That's when you can file the not received refund request.

Or you can also contact customer service by sending a private message on social media. You leave a message and an eBay employee will get back to you as soon as possible. To speed things up you can leave your registered account information in the PRIVATE message: Full name, address, phone number, email address, user ID, and a brief explanation of your problem.
