Ebay won’t let seller refund me my money
I preordered something from a seller back in February. It was supposed to arrive in June but the seller never got their shipment. Now there is no way for the seller to refund me since it is no longer on recent orders. eBay seems to have no way to deal with this and the chat bot is no help. What do I do?

You are correct - there is a 90 day limit on refunds. The seller will have to find a way to send your refund outside of eBay. You won’t be able to share contact info, so ask if he printed a copy of the order details - if so, he has your phone #.
Your seller also listed the item incorrectly - pre-order items must be deliverable within 45 days of purchase.
If the seller does not cooperate, you can call your credit card issuer and ask if they can open a dispute for an item not received. Many cards give you 180 days to file a dispute.
