Ebay will not verify me despite multiple attempts, stuck in limbo of restrictions?
I am unsure what to do and at this point, every time I have a rep call me they hang up after I explain the situation. All they say is they can't do anything. I created an account at the beginning of February and immediately got restricted. So I did the phone interview and everything was fine. Sold my first item, got restricted until it was delivered and customer verified I am not a scammer. I got 5 star review, restriction lifted.
I sold my second item, then they needed to verify my identity. I have uploaded my id twice now. First time I guess wasn't good enough? So when I'd gotten the second email about even further account restrictions i uploaded my id again immediately. No one will tell me why, in under a month, I've gotten three restrictions. I don't know what to do from here as I keep getting either put on hold for 40+mins and hung up on, or immediately hung up on after explaining my situation.
The last rep was horrible and rude, and I don't understand what I did? I've jumped through every hoop they've asked me to, idk how to further verify my identity. Is there anything I can do? I was only selling stuff from our storage because we were clearing it out. Honest descriptions and photos, things like Bluetooth speakers, camera, small figurines, and an old signed skateboard deck. We've even gotten positive feedback and proof of delivery for the two items we actually had time to sell before they ripped my other six listings down.
