Ebay will not tell me where my refund is.

I got an email saying that I got a refund but I can not find it in my account and I am unable to find a live ebay agent to talk to.

Depending on how you paid, it could be a few days, a few weeks to a complete billing cycle for the refund to show up.

A refund made through eBay always goes back to the original payment source, though it may take some time for the refund to be reflected in your bank statement.

If you need to contact eBay, go through the Help & Contact page. Use the "Contact us" link and follow the prompts for your issue and you should eventually wind up on a page with a chat option. Choose that, and the last option that appears in the chat window -- use the "See more" option -- should be "Contact an Agent" to request a call-back if you are in North America.
