eBay will not pay me for items I sold at auction and will refund the buyer!
#256461065741 I cant receive funds from eBay to release the item because of eBay policy to allow them access, with ability to deduct funds. to my personal checking account. I can't refund to the buyer and cancel the sale because eBay has put a hold on the funds. probably the last time I list anything on eBay.
P.S.: I look forward to telling everyone I know and all of the internet to use Amazon rather than of eBay.

Why are you refunding the buyer instead of completing the transaction as you are required to do? You agree eBay's policies each time you use the site.

OP2 years agoI would love to just complete the transaction, but eBay will not allow me to without giving them permission to withdraw money from my checking account any time they feel like it. I have been selling and buying on eBay for over twenty years and this is the first time anyone has asked for bank account and routing numbers to withdraw money from my personal account. how do I talk to someone at eBay to resolve this.

There is nothing to resolve. eBay's payment processor deposits your payouts into your checking account. That is the only way to get paid. If you don't accept that, you cannot receive the funds from items you sell on eBay.
Millions of sellers are paid every day through eBay Managed Payments and have been for several years now.
You do you give eBay permission to withdraw money from your checking account "any time they feel like it." They only withdraw money for valid charges. You might consider opening another checking account only for eBay Managed Payments if you are distrustful of the process which will keep the transactions independent from your personal checking account.

OP2 years agoI have considered opening another bank account to handle eBays new payment policy, but it is not going to happen in the next week. I just do not have time to go to the bank and open another account in the next week or so. Why can't eBay just refund the buyer and bill me any charges for canceling the sale. now they are sending me harassing emails threatening me if I don't give them my bank account info. I am really sorry I listed something on eBay. Please HOW DO I MAKE THIS PROBLEM GO AWAY... I realy am sorry.

I can open additional accounts with my bank online. It just takes a few minutes. You might consider doing that.
