I have been with eBay for 20 years with no complaints (except) here in 2025, 2026, that eBay is allowing after I filed a complaint for months, that my account was being manipulated by someone using and buying on my account with an entirely different State address. And now eBay will not address this problem, other than pass it on to a vendor, saying it was their mistake. Or somehow it is my behavior in this transaction. When my account Playnely states these to separate accounts with different mailing addresses on the eBay page filings. They used this Account For their Buying and My Buying to their address.
I have run into some of the most UN-SCROUPLS vendors on eBay in the last two years. that in every transaction I have tried to make on eBay, eBay has become so incompetent in its dealings that I will have to finally stop using it as a place to Buy One Line.

Here's my advice to help secure your account:
#1 Run a full scan with your virus software to remove any spyware from your computer.
#2 Go to my eBay> account>personal information and make sure that all information is correct including your cell phone number, registered email and ship from and to addresses.

#4 Secure your email account.
Change the passwords and secret questions. Be sure to use different passwords and secret questions on eBay and your email. Do not use these passwords on any other account.
Hacked accounts often start with a hacked email account.
#5 Calling is the only way to report hacked accounts for security reasons.

#7 Unlink all Social Sign in methods and change your passwords on those accounts too. The hacker will be able to use the social sign in links to sign in to your account again if you do not disconnect this option.
