Ebay will not accept my address in trying to sell an item
Ebay denied my PO Box stating it has to be a street address, when I entered that error message stated postal records do not agree. This is extremely frustrating.

OP2 years agoThe problem is I can't list an item for sale as Ebay won't either accept my PO Box or my street address. It is frustrating.

I'm sorry - I missed that. I thought you were asking as a buyer.
You can use a PO Box for your ship from and return address for shipping labels, but you need the street address for you eBay registration that matches your street address used on your checking account.
See this link for information to register as a seller:
https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/registering-seller?id=4792&st=3&pos=1&query=Registering%20as%20a%20seller&intent=egister&lucenceai=lucenceai&docId=HELP1461
If you encounter a snag, you can click the item at the bottom right of the page and ask for a callback to get more help.

OP2 years agoThe article wasn't totally helpful as I can't get it to accept my address to start with. It is impossible to make contact with a "live" agent although I requested one many times. Obviously, this is a situation that can't be solved. I'll just give up.

Mentor2 years agoDid you click the link I suggested on that page? It should put you in touch with a Managed Payments specialist.

Mentor2 years agoHi @jokea1685
If the seller doesn't ship through USPS, you'll need to provide a street address. Some sellers who DO ship via USPS still do not allow PO Boxes (this is usually out of ignorance). You'll need to find another seller if you can't use a street address.
