OP4 months agoYes, I filed a case with paypal, and they said ebay commerce will refund $588.60, but they want me to pay return shipping. I will not.
The first time I tried to initiate a return, on March 25, 2026, ebay commerce stated that the item was not refundable.

Mentor4 months ago@wilti-1025. I am sorry but once you go to PayPal eBay can no longer assist you. PayPal is who is requiring you to pay return shipping, not eBay.

OP4 months agoI have been there. ebay is giving me the run around, and now paypal is standing up in the canoe as well.
The solution appears to be closing both my ebay and paypal accounts. I gave them both until April 19, 2026, when is when they said the issue would be resolved.

Mentor4 months ago@wilti-1025. I am sorry that you are having trouble with a not as described return request.
How long have you had the items? There are time limits, some are 3 days from delivery and other items are 30 days.
Did you actually try to file a case with PayPal?
Once you file a refund request with another payment method eBay can no longer assist you.
You can try appealing the eBay case. I recommend answering my questions so I can offer advice before you try
