Has anyone else noticed that ebay is using AI to review policy violations and not real agents?

Yes, AI is being utilized more and more on eBay. Last year I reported 4 listings with Keyword spamming violations and almost immediately all 4 reports were rejects and the message stated it had been reviewed with their automated system (AI of course).

Thank you for taking the time to respond, I appreciate it.

AI should not be used in an appeal situation. You take the time to reply why this is not a violation, yet AI tells you in less than 20 mins that yours is a violation and others are not in violation of ebay policy. AI needs to learn a bit more. Real people / actual trained agents are the ones who need to respond to appeals. AI lets some listings stay, while blocking other listings of the same item.

We've seen this scenario play out over and over. Sellers being dishonest about category or spamming the system get away with their listings remaining live. However, those sales can be blocked at the time of purchase or taken down if reported via the question mark link in the lower right-hand corner of the page or picked off by eBay at some point.

Anything taken down by eBay should be sold elsewhere.

Are you referring to policy violations you have reported? If so what policy are you reporting a violation of? Yes ebay is using A.I. for reports but some reasons for reports can't even be proven by a real person checking them out unless there is clear proof of it. Reports of counterfeit or fake items that have the proper title photos descriptions and item specifics can't be discerned by a real person.
