E/Bay unethical practices
I used to be a regular customer with eBay for the last five years. I’ve spent over $40,000 on items. My most recent purchase was an absolute nightmare. The seller was a scam artist I got a call or an email from her on this platform saying I had to pay extra fees for Delivery, which is weird because eBay includes Delivery in the purchase correct? When I went to eBay with the issue what eBay did was signed with the seller and the item was returned to the seller and eBay refused to give me a refund? Does this sound insane? They violated my consumer rights. It’s not about the money. It’s about the integrity and eBay has none. A few other purchases I made were also counterfeit fake going against their policy that they authenticate everything they lied and their 30 day moneyback guarantee is also a lie. It’s deceptive . I filed the complete with the final trade commission the federal government because they violated consumer laws which is illegal, the Illinois government is also aware of that even the governor sent me a letter about this incident, and I also filed the police report and it still was not good enough for eBay to return my money. I will tell you to proceed with caution when you deal with this site because it’s a gamble. I would complain to the Better Business Bureau, **bleep** off consumers, every single site you can imagine that would give eBay the worst reputation which they deserve. You don’t treat. Arnold honest loyal customers who spent a lot of money on your platform like this. And you definitely do not side with the lying deceptive scamming sellers that are on here and there are a lot. eBay seems to victimize the side of the buyer and take the side of the seller because eBay wants a commission of the sale. I heard they’re in the process of buying an even worse platform this platform 90% of the sellers are scam artists every purchase I’ve made on DEPOP has been fake counterfeit item and this platform also did not think about it. Why should these companies get away with stealing from people when the average person if they steal they get charged and arrested and find and have to go before our judge yet companies like eBay and other platforms get away with it. Why? I hope everything consumer that reads this since a complaint to eBay about their practices and uses my example and what they did to me oh and by the way, the item I was complaining about they were a pair of Christian Dior heels. I went to check for them under what I bought, and it disappeared. Nowhere in sight. The item cannot be found. That’s very strange. How do you buy an item and then it goes missing it’s nowhere to be found. I can’t find the item except for the pictures I took on my phone and the exchange with the seller and eBay that’s the only proof I have the item is not even on the platform under what I bought. Mentor4 months agoebay does NOT authenticate every item sold on ebay. If you see the Authenticity Guarantee checkmark on a listing, only that listing includes authentication.
Buyers who file a returns request for Item Not as Described, will always win, as the seller has to accept the return and pay for the return shipping or fully refund the buyer and not require the item's return.
