eBay tried to get more car sellers and buyers by providing free listings for 2 months but this week we as a used car dealership start receiving messages from ebay to remove our contact phone number. The buying and selling cars on eBay are advertisement and non-binding agreements sales. We offer for buyers to help with car shipping, financing or payments by providing our contact information. It's required for used car dealers and part of the service we provide. eBay does not want it and asking to remove. We have sales licence to sell cars but eBay doesn't. We have follow states regulations to complete transaction. We recieved a lot of calls asking for vehicle condition, financing and shipping. Now people cannot do it and using other websites buyers sellers friendly. I don't know any other cars website who remove dealer contact information. I guess eBay doesn't understand the legal process of the title transfer and car sales.
