eBay took my money And Idk how to fix it.

eBay glitched or something and took $40 from me. I placed an order of $68 using a $50 gift card after placing the order it took the $18 difference from my account the next day my eBay acted like I never order anything yet my money was still gone this happend a second time so I gave up Iâ€™m hoping i can fix this issue as Iâ€™m still out $40 and nothing was ever ordered

Did you inadvertently purchase as a Guest?

First, you are covered by the eBay Money Back Guarantee for 30 days from receipt: eBay Money Back Guarantee policy

Next, you may have inadvertently purchased as a Guest so you will have to log OUT of your eBay account to do anything with the Guest purchase. The email you received should have a link for you and this Help page will assist you as well: Buying as a guest | eBay

On a side note, Guest purchases cannot be merged with an eBay account nor can you leave Feedback on the transaction.
