eBay too difficult and too expensive
I have been an eBay member since Nov 28, 1998, over 25 years, many years ago I used eBay a lot, started using is again recently, it is compared to years past is extremely difficult to use and too expensive now.
I will stick with uses Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, Netdoor.com and others.
I sold something in eBay this week, and cannot find under sellers ITEMS SOLD, I also cannot find TRANSFER money from eBay to my checking account.
What the heck, after looking around for a long time through ridiculously over-complicated navigation system, I finally found an items sold several days ago, and already shipped, but eBay has my $71.10 on HOLD!!!
no thank you eBay!!!

Mentor2 years agoEbay has had a rule for many years that pertains to New Seller and sellers that have been away from selling for 90+ days. The following is the policy that outlines why you money is likely on hold.

While your account is very old and I respect that longevity it is also a low activity account and it's possible you have simply missed numerous changes made over the years. Payouts are typically set to happen automatically on this page if you have never seen it: Seller Hub | Your financial summary | eBay
You want the "Payout" link.
You also need to provide eBay with your banking info and SSN which I assume you have done, otherwise you will not get paid.
Where and how you sell your items is certainly your choice and I can understand some items might sell better elsewhere.

Mentor2 years agoYou are an infrequent seller, so you funds will be held. This is to protect both you and eBay if there is a return case. They will be released to your checking account after this time period, usually 30 days. As you sell more and become established, this hold will no longer apply to you and funds will be transferred as you chose when you signed up for Managed Payments.

Sorry you are having difficulties.
To find your sold items, go here >>
https://www.ebay.com/sh/ord
Since you are an infrequent seller, your funds are subject to a hold. Once the funds are no longer on hold, they will be released and sent to your bank for processing into your bank account.
