eBay told me that the buyer had paid for the item. They said to ship the product to the buyer.

Now eBay says that the buyer has had his account closed.I already sent the item. Now what happens?

If it was eBay who told you that, as opposed to a scamming "buyer" who got your email address or phone number ("I have some questions so email/text/call me at xxxxx") and used it to send you a fake payment message from "eBay," then you were paid and the item is on the way to the buyer who will have great difficulties trying to return it or claim s/he didn't get it, so you are in a good position.

If it was a scammer sending you a fake payment message (check the payment status in your list of sold items) did you enclose a gift card at the "buyer's" request for which you were "paid" extra according to the fake payment message? If so you are out the item and the cost of the gift card. If not you are out the item. If there was no actual payment cancel the transaction for non-payment after the 5th midnight Pacific Time (on Wednesday if it's for the 20 Francs French Rooster Gold Coin BU AGW .1867 oz (Random Year)).
