ebay thinks I have 2 accounts
While listing some DVDs I had to re-enter my banking information. But ebay already had it. Probably foolishly I went through the process again. I don't know why this happened and it's impossible to get anyone from ebay 'on the phone'.

To contact eBay, use the chat assistant to request a call back by starting on the Help & Contact page and following the links for your issue.
What options you see may depend on your particular issue and how busy that department is at the moment.
Try entering "agent" into the chat window. You may have to provide some context to reach the correct department. If you see a "Still need help?" or "More options" choice, either of those should lead to a call back option.

OP1 year agoThanks for all that. The moment I posted this I saw my problem: In ebay's infinite wisdom they grabbed a little used 'mistake' account and started adding items to it. I think several years ago I ordered something too quickly and a 'mistake account' got set up. I'll now have to take steps to get rid of it. My original account I've had since about '02. The mistakes we can make when we're too tired.
