Ebay tells buyer one price for shipping, then charges me more.
I'm selling an item that is set up to ship in a 14 x 14 x 2 inch pizza box. The weight set at 2 lbs 0 oz, including packaging. The seller is offered a price of $11.63 for USPS priority mail shipping to their zip code. But when I go to print a shipping label ebay asks me to pay $12.25. This is the same price charged by USPS, so it's correct. I have a $0.25 handling fee in my shipping policy, which is being applied (otherwise eBay offers the customer shipping for $11.38). The shipping method in the policy is set to "standard shipping: small to medium items", and cost type is set to "calculated: cost varies by buyer location". A screen shot is attached below, clearly showing the two prices -- $11.63 for the customer, $12.25 for me. What am I missing here?

I haven't used Priority shipping since Ground Advantage was introduced. The method you selected was Standard shipping: Small to medium items. I believe that you should have selected Priority (or Expedited, which ever term ebay may have chosen).

OP1 year agoThank you for taking an interest in my question! I do offer USPS Ground Advantage shippping, and USPS Media Mail. Customers can choose from all three options during checkout.
