Ebay support when item damaged in shipping
How does eBay support the seller, if they did everything right with protecting and item, but shipping mishandles and destroys the item? Buyer is protected, they get their money back. Seller is left with shipping fees and a broken item they can no longer sell!

Mentor2 years agoThe seller has shipping insurance. Just about every shipment has $100 of coverage. Above that, you have to add more insurance when you buy your label.
Ask the buyer for photos, then file the claim. If sent through the mail, file your claim at usps.com. Ask the buyer to hold the item and the box - they may need to take it to their PO for inspection.

OP2 years agoThank you for your quick reply!
So if I mailed through FedEx I have to file through them? Or if eBay sees photos and the damage do they cover me and proceed through FedEx?
