Ebay suddenly requires my checking account info to pay me - payment HOLD
Just sold an item and Ebay is insisting I provide my checking account info. What about paypal? I don't feel comfortable providing this info.

Mentor2 years agoManaged Payments took over for PayPal several years ago (4 or more I think). Yes, you need to provide your checking account number, routing number, and SSN. These are all things that you gave PayPal for processing payments. It is safe. New or returning sellers are subject to up to 30 day holds of funds until you have some successful sales under your belt.
Honestly, you should have set this up before you sold something.

Mentor2 years agoIf you want to sell on eBay and get paid, you must provide a checking account.
Although buyers can still pay using PayPal, eBay has not used PayPal to pay sellers since sellers were enrolled in managed payments.
