Ebay steppin in
How do I get ebay to step in & help with a dispute?
They opened up a return for me to send an outdoor lounge back to the seller.
2 parts of the lounge have been built but all the wooden slats are splitting in several places because the bolts they supplied are too big, so we can't sit on the chairs.

The seller won't supply return postage & wants this lounge back in it's original condition & wrapping ( which has been thrown out.) Plus I will have to break down the 2 chairs already built, which will damage them further!
What can I do. The help option keeps taking me in circles as action is pending because I now need to send it back!
Return postage will cost more than the outdoor lounge!! Help!!

·3 years agoYou’ll need to return the items. That’s the problem with buying big heavy items online. If the seller is in the USA, they’ll need to send you a label to return them. If they’re not in the USA let us know and we’ll advise you further.

OP3 years agoHi, ebay opened the return for me. I'm suppose to pack a huge outdoor lounge up & send it back. 2 chairs out of the 4 have already been built & several of the slats have split. Either the wood is brittle and/or the bolts are too big. The seller wants it back in the same condition, so I have to now unscrew the 2 chairs (that took me hours to build) to pack it all.
It will cost more than the lounge to send it back & the seller hasn't supplied any return stickers! I need ebay to step in but that option is not available unless I put in a tracking number showing I'm returning it!
I paid nearly $400 & it's not worth the hastle!
