Does anyone know how to get ahold an actual eBay person, a phone number? I've been having trouble with this eBay standard shipping and buyers not getting their purchases in a timely manner or apparently at all. I know the tracking is sketchy at best but I'm afraid some buyers are using this to their advantage because the USPS won't show that item was delivered but has the last location in the town you mailed it to. Buyer could just say they didn't get and get a refund just like that. I wouldn't be able to sell much if had to step up to ground advantage etc. Please any help out there?

If the buyer files an item not received case, refund them through the case, and file for insurance.
For a lost eBay Standard Envelope sale, file a claim here
https://www.pip-claim.com/PIPClaim/eBayIntClaim/CreateeBayClaim
You'll need to wait 30 days to file a claim. Claims must be filed no later than 90 days from the date the shipping label was created.
Make sure that you envelopes are flexible enough to go through USPS machinery so they get scanned. they aren't hand scanned like regular packages are.
