Ebay Standard Envelope Question; Has Tracking Improved?
About a year ago was the last time I used the Ebay Standard Envelope as my customers were complaining that they weren't receiving their items on a small percentage of them and I was having to reship product because initial scans were not done to prove it was shipped and it was costing me money. So I had switched to Ground Advantage to ship, even if it cost more. However over the last year they increased the rate like 3 times on GA and I've had to repeatedly adjust as I kept losing money on shipping, and now it's over $5 to ship a tiny 1 oz item to most places, which is ridiculous. I'm certain this is affecting the sale of my smaller items, I'm getting low scores for shipping cost even though I'm losing money on it, so I'm again contemplating the risk of going back to the eBay Standard Envelope just so I can offer a cheaper option to my customers. But, if the risk of lack of tracking updates still looms as often as it did, I'm not sure. Can anyone provide any insight?
