ebay spamming "similar item" deceptively

Question

So I was shopping for book -- a particular title -- on e-bay. Did not find anything sufficiently below brand-new-from-publisher pricing, so did not pull the trigger ($2-3 below a $35 title just ain't worth it! ) .

Now e-bay is sending me -- multiple times a day -- "new listings" which are (so far) all MORE EXPENSIVE than brand-new-from-publisher!!! This is partly "international shipping" costs, and sometimes the scam where the seller's profit isn't the item, but a grossly-inflated shipping-charge.

It's annoying AF.

I find no way to fine-tune these push-notifications; e.g. with my Searches I can specify sorting ListPrice+Shipping sorting, but apparently not with these e-mails...?

Help?
Or do I just consider auto-filtering e-bay to spam?
