eBay sides with scammer sunjinwoo1997, refuses my refund
I tried to buy an item from scammer sunjinwoo1997, but it turned out to be a scam, confirmed by my local post master who said they’d seen scams like it before. The seller steals a tracking number and ships a piece of paper instead of the item so eBay thinks all is well as it goes through all the steps of shipping and transit.
So once I knew it was a scam, I asked eBay to refund me and ban the scammer sunjinwoo1997. I also left a negative review for scammer sunjinwoo1997 letting people know he’s a scammer.
eBay of course tells me I have to contact the scammer for a refund (robots, no sense of nuance or common sense) so I do that, scammer refuses refund, I go back to eBay and since the item had technically “arrived†according to their computer screens (despite me explaining the scam and how easy eBay is to trick) they refused my refund and sided with scammer sunjinwoo1997. On top of that, my negative review from the scammer has been deleted and he’s still active on eBay.
So I’ve been reporting him every week since this occurred but eBay hasn’t taken any action. They’re allowing him to scam their customers despite having evidence he’s a scammer.
What do I need to do to get scammer sunjinwoo1997 banned?
