Ebay shut down site of a thief that sent me fake Chinese buillion, then denied my claim.
Summary: kaisers125_7 shared their frustration with an e-commerce platform after receiving fake bullion from a seller. Although the site apparently closed the seller’s account, they denied kaisers125_7's claim because they supposedly took too long to return the item, despite having a postal receipt as proof. kaisers125_7 mentioned consulting a lawyer who criticized the site's vague policy. They expressed difficulty in reaching customer service and are contemplating legal action.
Later the thief wanted to pay me back. Ebay then said the thief said I took to long to mail the fake bullion back (not true I have a postal receipt). They denied the claim. A lawyer examined their claim policy and said it is the most nothing policy ever. They could not give me a time limit, deny the claim because none of that is clearly listed in their refund policy. They might have even refunded the thief. I can not get through to a live person and getting ready to take legal action. I have the claim number, the decision, etc. They also told me to call them for more information. All I get is that moron A.I.
