ebay show false total sales amount
Apparently ebay is adding any tax THEY got from your sales to your final sales amount. (example item sells for 25 they show the sale as 27.06 that's 2.06 that you never see) then they are charging fees based on that amount your you actually paying them a fee to collect the tax money that you never see. im not sur but i am pretty sure that's showing an incorrect totals sale NET which i believe is what they use on the IRS 1099 therefore they are sending an incorrect figure to the IRS. Anyone comment on this please

Mentor2 years agoThe tax will not be included on your 1099k.
The fee policy clearly states that fees are based on the total payment by the buyer, including shipping and tax.
