eBay SHIPSAVE coupon
Thought I’d share this information. Some of my listings are eligible for eBay’s current SHIPSAVE free shipping coupon. When I ran in to a problem with a recent sale I sent eBay this message along with a screenshot documenting the issue.
"Please see attachment. This buyer used eBay’s SHIPSAVE free shipping coupon. To be clear, I am talking about an eBay coupon not a seller coupon. She contacted me because she didn’t think the coupon was applied. She requested a shipping refund or a cancellation. Since sellers are not told when buyers use an eBay coupon I had no way of verifying her claim. According to my order details she paid shipping. Fortunately she checked again and realized she wasn’t charged. She immediately sent me a follow-up message.
If this had been an attempted scam I could have refunded shipping or cancelled the order. To avoid future confusion sellers need to know if an eBay discount was applied to a purchase.
