Ebay shippping
I sent out multiple packages yesterday thru eBay shipping. All but one is showing they were scanned and in transit. The one item isn't showing I even paid for the label and its prompting me to send it out. I did send it out yesterday . I did pay for the label. Anyone ever have this issue? Is eBay slow to get caught up with showing it was scanned and in transit? This is very confusing when all the other packages scanned that were placed in the bin at the same time.

Mentor1 year agoI never drop packages in a bin or leave on a counter. I did that years ago and packages never got scanned, which caused me to be a below standard seller. Since that time, I stand in line to get my packages scanned and receive a receipt.
For the package that shows no scan, go to your Orders, locate that package and click on the tracking to be taken to the carrier's website. Look for the link to enter your email address to be sent updated tracking information. That will usually trigger getting the tracking number information updated to ebay.

Mentor1 year ago@lorpalme_2 Did you have it scanned at the post office? OR just drop it off?
Did you combine shipping on an order and not add the tracking to the second item?

No I did each order separately.

Mentor1 year agoDropping off in the bin is the mistake. Sorry to say but you have zero proof as far as the post office is concerned that the item was actually shipped. This means that you have no insurance for lost packages and will have to refund the buyer out of your pocket for the item if they file a refund request.
Packages can get lost/ stolen BEFORE they ever get the very important first scan if you don't stand in line and get an acceptance scan.
You can write off the loss on your taxes next year.
