eBay shipping label barcode and QR codes don’t match
Recently I have noticed that the QR Code that eBay gives me has the wrong shipping address once the USPS enters it into their system.
This has happened 3 times in the last couple of months resulting in us having to refund buyers because their package got shipped off to the wrong address, no fault of our own.
So now...We have to write the city and state on every QR Code and make sure when the USPS prints the label off, that it matches the city and state.
Our problem right now is we don't know who to ask to refund our money that we had to pay back to the buyer for the lost mail. The USPS says they are not responsible because it was delivered to the address that the eBay label printed. And eBays tracking shows that it was never shipped using the QR label they provided...because...it went somewhere else. I do show the QR Code (that matches what eBay gave us), date and time on an official USPS receipt showing it was shipped.
