EBAY SHIPPING CALCULATOR ERROR?
I JUST SOLD A CHAINSAW ON EBAY AND HAD THE SHIPPING CALCULATOR SET FOR FEDEX HOME DELIVERY AND EBAY CHARGED THE CUSTOMER $52 FOR SHIPPING. THEN I PREPARE THE ITEM FOR SHIPPING AND DIMENSIONS AND WEIGHT ARE THE SAME AS ITEM LISTED FOR ITEM ON SALE; BUT EBAY CHARGES ME $65 INSTEAD?

Mentor3 weeks agoNever use ebay FedEx or ebay UPS, there has been decades of problems with both. Best to use your own account or for better prices UPS with a free PirateShip account.
Note there have been recent increases in costs so if buyer bought before the increase and you purchased the label after, that may be what you are seeing.

UPS may be more affordable.
That said, both UPS and Fedex add surcharges for certain addresses, not just the zip that you may not know about when you are using the calculator.
Use the calculator in the listing, and it should be correct.
There may be surcharges due to length, due to flammability, and due to potential leaks.
