Ebay selling limit.

Question

Right now, eBay is telling me that I can only sell one item per month with a selling limit of $10. I've been an eBay member since 2002, and I've bought and sold a decent number of items over the years with a 100% positive feedback rating. Is there any way to loosen the restriction. I'm just trying to sell a camera I own, and it would be nice to be able to sell an item now and then.

@drew_1973 eBay reduces the limit on dormant accounts as a security measure for your account.

You will need to contact eBay customer service for assistance, I have a handy short cut.

However I recommend checking a few things as eBay will NOT tell you what doesn't match for security reasons.

1. Verify that name and address on your eBay account matches your checking account and government ID EXACTLY. I had to had my middle name to my eBay account so it would match my checking account and drivers license. You will need to provide your SS#.

2. Make sure the ACH routing number is the correct one to use for these type of deposits. Verify this with your bank.

3. Contact Customer service

Then Type Verify Checking account. In the chat bot box on the lower right.

Then AGENT after the bot responds. You might have to repeat those steps.
