eBay selling
An an eBay 1 year seller I have this issue with using eBay about some buyer to all the buyers out there please take this message serious please don’t not place a bid a win it and attempt to request for the buyer to cancel it The fees we have to pay it at least 20$ and most people just play bids not even buy the item they won if you’re a eBay buyer take this serious thank you

You can require buyers to provide a payment method before placing a bid or making an offer in account settings.
The option is at the bottom of this help page

As already mentioned too there are not any fees if the sale is canceled UNLESS you use an optional listing upgrade such as Reserve Price which has a fee of 7.5%. Always start auctions at a price you will be happy with if you get just one bid.

Mentor2 years agoHere we are a group of Mentors. We don't work for Ebay, but we are very experienced Ebayers that volunteer our time to help other members when we can.
You shouldn't be paying any fees if you cancel the transaction and refund the buyer.
You don't have any fees if the buyer had not yet paid. But if the buyer paid and you cancel the transaction, the refund portion of cancelling the transaction will result in your fees being refunded.
