ebay seller not responding after numerous attempts to find status
I had purchased an item and an extended warranty. The Allstate agent stated that the item has a year warranty to contact the manufacturer. I asked the seller if they had any information regarding this. They replied that if I wanted they would send a replacement and tracking within 48 hours. This has not happened. I continued to ask the status of the replacement but have never heard back from the seller since the first reply of they would send a new replacement. How should I proceed?

Mentor1 year ago@classic-49 Manufacturers do not honor warranties on items unless they are purchased from a authorized RETAIL seller.
You can contact the company yourself and ask them if they will provide warranty support for an item purchased from a seller on eBay. I am sure that the answer will be no. Try to get some kind of documentation from the company that states this share with Allstate.
Then you contact Allstate again and tell them you expect them to honor the warranty they sold you.

The seller is only required to respond to eBay Money Back Guarantee refund requests that are filed within 30 days of the date of delivery.
If you have had the item longer you may have coverage under your credit card for a defective item.
