eBay security flaw
Happened again this morning after I changed my password. Somehow eBay thinks I'm logging in on a new device in a different state. This is very annoying, I want this fixed! How will I know except by checking an erroneous log in time against when I was really on eBay to catch a real hacker!

Mentor3 years agoAre you using a hotspot or a VPN? Or privacy software that hides your location? That can cause your location to appear different. Location information comes from your ISP, and may not reflect your actual location.
You will receive a "new device" message every time there is a sign in from a new IP-address, or from a new browser, or a browser with no eBay cookies from a previous sign in.
If you cannot rely on location information, use the time and browser information instead.
