·3 years agoNo, don't contact them outside of Ebay, they will try to scam you.
If they don't pay, on day 5, cancel the order and use nonpayment as the reason.

When the buyer pays, you will be instructed to ship the items to eBay's authenticators, so watch that sold page. When eBay says you can ship, print a label on eBay to send to the authenticator.
If the buyer fails to pay for 4 full days, then on the fifth day, cancel the sale on your order page, choosing the reason "buyer didn't pay".
A buyer should not be asking for your phone or text number. The only reason is to start a scam. Scammers never pay, although they might start the scam by saying they were unable to use eBay's checkout. The scammer might send a fake payment notice that looks like it is from eBay or PayPal. But if you don't see a successful payment within your eBay sold-items page, then you did not get paid and you should not ship.
Once the buyer pays through eBay checkout and you ship to the authenticators, eBay will still hold your payout in case the buyer wants to return the items. You can expect a payout within about 21 days of the sale.
