eBay ripping off seller and buyer for outside fees of usps
So eBay I just realized being a new seller is totally dishonest! When you sell an item they charge you based on shipping fees as well! So this is the dishonest part, when we calculate shipping weight and size and how to send we charge that fee , so we are not making a profit , it’s just the usps fees and then eBay will say you saved†whatever the price†we did not save because eBay already took out the money so in return what’s a seller to do charge more money for shipping based on eBay’s fees and ripping off the buyer due to eBay’s fees? This is totally wrong , so if we charge more they still will take out more so eBay is ripping off the buyer and seller due to a calculated usps fee which is outside of eBay. I can understand selling fees somewhat but when you take money from a buyer and seller outside of eBay I find this to be totally crooked business!!

You are not being ripped off, you just misunderstand your options.
The default setting in your shipping preferences is to charge the buyer the discounted rate. You can change that to charge the buyer the full retail rate or opt for a percentage off the retail rate so that you pass along some of the discount and use the rest to cover your handling fees (for packaging materials, etc.).
