eBay Returns
I’m very frustrated to have 3 return requests happening simultaneously.
The first one is legitimate and I’ve already started the process.
The second is an unsubstantiated claim about an outdated item, but they have no expiration dates on them and only 1:5 even had a date to it! This one alone will cost me around $3000.
The third, the buyer actually states “I just don’t like itâ€. That is NOT what my policy or eBay’s says!
how can I get through these returns?

Mentor3 years agoWhen you accept returns, you accept all returns, for any reason. So the I don't like it reason is acceptable. You have free returns on the majority of your items, so you pay the return shipping no matter the reason.
When you list an item as new or used, it means it works as intended. Your 'no warranty implied' has no meaning, since eBay's money back guarantee always applies.
I don't know about the expired/date issue, but if sold with returns accepted, the reason only decides who pays the return shipping and if the original shipping is refunded. If sold with free returns, you pay. So then it is only an issue of the original shipping, which from looking at the expensive items you list is a minimal issue.
If sold with returns accepted, you can no decline the return. You can report the buyer for abusing the money back guarantee after you receive the return and issue the full refund.

Mentor3 years agoIt really isn't absurd, since the buyer can go to their card issuer and open a dispute. Then you don't get the item returned. This is the same for all retailers, so it is to your advantage to accept and handle returns.
If you do not want to accept all returns, then switch to no returns - then you only have to accept not as described returns. Or at least choose something other than free 60 day returns. I suspect you would get more not as described returns, but maybe not.
