eBay refund not received

Hello, on July 7, I purchased a PS5 without checking the seller's reputation. The account had been created two days earlier and had no sales. The issue is that the next day, I was informed that the purchase had been canceled and that the money had been refunded to my card (I paid with an Airtm prepaid card), but I still haven't received the money. I spoke with Airtm and they haven't resolved anything, and I've tried to contact eBay but they don't have a direct method of contact. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Hi @juanar68

If you received an email telling you that you were refunded â€¦ then eBay will process your refund within 3-4 days and send it back to your payment source.

It must then be processed by your payment source before you SEE the refund back on your card.

Iâ€™m thinking that youâ€™re still a bit early to take any action but wait for the refund to go back to your Airtm card

Good points. I read this as if this buyer was being told this as a stall tactic until it's too late to do anything on eBay:

"...was informed that the purchase had been canceled and that the money had been refunded to my card."

It wasnâ€™t totally clear WHO told the OP about the cancellation and refund. The use of the word â€œinformedâ€™ made me think it was an official eBay notification, in which case it wouldnâ€™t be possible to open a claim. A few more days of waiting should tell.
