eBay recommending an auction when listing an item.

Question

Trying to list an item and use â€œbuy it nowâ€ but eBay is recommending an auction and wonâ€™t let me use buy it now. How do I disable that recommendation?

How you select a listing format depends on the listing tool you are using.

1. If you are using the Quick Listing Tool ( you will see a gear on the upper right of the listing tool)

then select Buy It Now in the pricing section by clicking the Buy It Now toggle so it turns BLUE and the Auction toggle turns GREY:

2. If you are using the New Listing Tool: https://www.ebay.com/sl/prelist/suggest?sr=shstart (It will have the option to add a video in the photo section)

Scroll down to the pricing section and select Buy It Now from the format drop down menu.
