Mentor2 years agoI suspect ebay will hold @sfla42 's funds long beyond delivery when a new seller has multiple sales totalling hundreds of dollars, most for high fraud electronics (phones, ipads, etc.)

Mentor2 years agoDid you read the policy link on this subject that I provided in post #3. You really should read it. it doesn't just tell you the policy exists, it tell you what the process is and some hints on getting money released.

Mentor2 years agoClearly there is a misunderstanding here. It appears you didn't do much research into how the site works before you jumped in and started selling. You aren't alone, many new sellers make the same mistake.
Before listing the first item a seller should learn the basics. Listing rules, return policy rules, How your money is processed and how to create a good listing. You seemed to have leaped over some of that.
Ebay nor your buyers have any idea what race you are. For you to leap to such a serious accusation is rather ridiculous. The rules on Ebay apply to everyone no matter what race or creed you are. The title of this thread says far more about you than it does Ebay.
Here appears to be the critical policy on how your money is process you overlooked learning.
Ebay has had a rule for many years that pertains to New Seller and sellers that have been away from selling for 90+ days. The following is the policy that outlines why you money is likely on hold.

You are destroying your own account by not understanding some of the very basic rules. Not only as to why your money is being held, but the does and don'ts about the feedback you leave for buyers. You have some serious issues here and you will lose your selling privileges here if you don't get a handle on it ASAP.

Mentor2 years agoIf you had claims or cases opened against you, that might cause your payments to be withheld or refunds made to the buyers of your products.
You should be able to find out information about your payments and payment holds in your eBay account.

eBay does not steal money from sellers but they will make a buyer whole if there is a transaction issue. The buyer will get the money back. If you decline to accept a return, they may still get their money back if it is a dispute.
